Our University Course in Interreligious Studies (60 ECTS) can be taken externally or internally (in combination with accommodation in the Intercultural Student Dormitory).
Target group
The university course, under the direction of the University of Salzburg, is aimed at postgraduate students who wish to further educate themselves in the field of interreligious encounters and religious and cultural studies, as well as at employees in pedagogical and agogical, ecclesiastical, religious, advisory, political, economic and subject-specific professional fields in the intercultural area and at people who want to study out of purely personal interest. The university course is aimed at people who want to deepen their knowledge of the fundamentals and practical fields of encounter and dialogue between religions from a religious, cultural and humanistic perspective, methodically, personally and in a learning community.
Course content
The religions of the world and their interactions in interreligious dialogue. Historical and systematic foundations of dialogue between religions. Practical forms of dialogue, interreligious pedagogy, religious studies analysis and possibilities of applied religious studies in interreligious dialogue.
