e is an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America, and after serving churches in Schenectady, NY and Flushing, Queens, NYC he and his a family moved to Muscat, Oman in 2013 to work with Al Amana Centre. Al Amana Centre is an ecumenical and interfaith organization working to facilitate understanding and trust between people of different religions and cultures. In 2021, Rev. Meyers became the Executive Director of Al Amana Centre. He specializes in inter-religious dialogue and encounters. He has a passion for helping people wrestle with differences and live within the tensions of different cultures.
He has and Masters of Divinity from Western Theological Seminary, and a Masters of Arts in Peacebuilding and Reconciliation from the University of Winchester, UK. He is currently working on his Doctorate in Ministry at New Brunswick Theological Seminary focusing on Christian and Muslim Theologies and Practices of Reconciliation.
