Student Representative

Guljan Komekova is a medical student at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and has been serving as Student Representative of the College of Interreligious Studies Munich since 2025.
In this role, she supports student engagement, helps organize College Rounds and reflection sessions, and fosters communication between students and faculty.

Originally from Turkmenistan, she participated in numerous United Nations competitions during high school. These experiences sparked her interest in international cooperation, intercultural dialogue,
and peacebuilding.

Fluent in Turkmen, Russian, English, German, and Turkish, with basic knowledge of Spanish, she combines her medical studies with a deep commitment to intercultural learning, interreligious dialogue,
and global collaboration.
